Responsibility... (sigh)

It's official, now that my lease is ending in my baby jet (my VW jetta) it's time for me to be an responsible young adult and pay for my own car payment. However, this was not decided upon my parents, (yes & no) it was mainly me who wanted to take on this responsibility. I feel that if I do this I will only prepare myself for my future, when I am on my own. I'm kind of excited about this because it's almost like shopping for a statement piece, something that fits you to a T, and as I spent my Saturday I ended up narrowing down to TWO cars that I felt fit me.

A 2010 Mazda 6
A 2011 VW GTI

Both in white, which seems so girly & chic. I am having a hard time narrowing down between these choices and making the FINAL decision since it is soley up to ME since I will be paying for it. Luckily, I am fortunate enough to have a family who is putting a down payment for so my car payment isn't SKY HIGH!

Agh, i'm excited and a decision needs to be made in a week.

Opinions, comments, any feed back is welcome ♥

"It's a Brad Brad World"

On Tuesday I was given the opportunity to go and listen to Brad Goreski speak at the Ai campus in Santa Monica, and I must say not only was I extremely excited but nervous as well! I felt like I was meeting Bradely Cooper or something (that would be the day) If some of you don't know who Brad Goreski is, he was Rachel Zoe's assistant stylist on the Rachel Zoe Project and now has moved on and become a full fledged stylist and styles celeberites such as Demi Moore and Jessica Alba. His new reality show titled "It's a Brad Brad World' will be featured on Bravo and they were actually filming a segment of the show at Ai which is really cool cause some of us will get their big debut on TV!

He was such an inspiration to listen too, and it was interesting to hear his story and how he got where he is today. After listening to him speak, it really made me lean more towards styling since I was on the fence of that visual merchandising, or PR. We will have to wait and see where the road takes me.

Here are a few photos I got from the session, I wish I had gotten a little more but we weren't able to take any during the presentation, only after and it was chaos!

What a stud

Back to school!

So it's been a quiet sometime since i've posted. I was on Spring Break and let me just say it was fabulous to not have to worry about homework, projects, and tests. It was nice little break and I wish it wasn't over. Spring quarter started for me today, 5 classes yet again... but this quarter sadly, won't be as exciting as previous quarters. 3DVM part 2, public speaking [yuck], creative writing, retail buying & business management.... yeah if you're not bored reading it then you must be out of your mind.

How was everyone else's break? I know everyone had different breaks but hopefully all of you enjoyed the time you had off, and hopefully their was some sunshine :)

Here are a few pictures from my Spring Break festivities, enjoy!

I'll be back during midterms to posts some work/projects!
