Since Spring is almost near, there are many pieces I would love to add to my closet. ABG Banquet!

Tonight, I was officially initiated into the Alpha Beta Gamma National Honor Society. I was so excited to be presented this honor because I have been anxiously waiting to get to 30 credits so I could finally join!

This is offered for students who have a 3.5 GPA and above. I would have never saw the day that I would have above a 3.5 GPA considering I did not like school at all, and was so confused as to what I wanted to do with my life while I was in high school. I think I finally found my niche! And I couldn't be more excited to be apart of this with all the other students who are in the program!

Environmental Impact

Fabric: Chiffon, and elegant sheer fabric made of silk, rayon, cotton or synthetics. It is very fine, thin  hand and lightweight. It is soft and supple which gives it a drape, but it is difficult to handle when sewing. Chiffon comes in several different "looks." The most popular is silk chiffon. It is a lightweight, delicate chiffon that is often used as an overlay or ruffle to evening gowns, dresses, and separates. The finish is usually a light crepe texture.

Any environmental impact due to process: No environmental impact since it is a man made fiber.
Apparel merchandise fabric used for: Mainly used in evening and formal wear since it drapes well and can add a flowy look to gowns and dresses.

Examples: Vera Wang used chiffon fabric in her 2011 dress collection.

Since my last blog got erased...

Sadly, my last blog was erased. It was link to my gmail account and I guess I happen to be one of the 500,000 people whose google accounts got erased... sad day :(

So I had to create a new blog, ALL over again. Bare with me as i'm slowly making changes to it.

Here is some work i've done for this week for Trends class. We were supposed to create looks for Fall 2011 season.
